In your new role:
* Strong focus on continuous improvement and cost savings
* Carry out various process improvement projects continually seeking ways to improve both the procurement and stock manage processes
* Sourcing new products from both existing and new suppliers, negotiating best price & lead time, ensuring all products are up to the quality standards expected
* Implement procurement strategies that align with seasonal trends
* Oversee the distribution of stock to various sites ensuring stock levels are consistently maintained to meet demand
* Attend weekly meetings providing an update on inventory levels and process improvements
What you will need to succeed:
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a purchasing role at a senior level
* A proven track record of success in carrying out cost saving and process improvement projects
* A passion for making process much more lean
