The Role:
My mainstream secondary school client based a short commute from Cirencester is actively seeking a versatile and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis, 29 hours per week across five days. Teaching Assistant qualifications & previous experience working in SEN environments will be beneficial but not essential as full training is provided. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers and graduates to begin their careers in education in a rewarding and exciting role. To be successful you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to support the classroom teacher, in addition to a genuine desire to support students and facilitate their success.
The School:
This school prides itself on the professional development opportunities it offers and as such this is an excellent opportunity for experienced teaching assistants seeking a new and vibrant environment as well as aspiring teachers that are taking their first steps into a career in education. Depending on the experience and qualifications of the Teaching Assistant they can expect Unqualified Grade 3 Point 4 (£12.65 per hour) or Qualified Grade 4 Point 7 (£13.26 per hour).
