They are currently looking for a Facilities Assistant to join them for an initial 3-month contract, however there is a view for this to become a more permanent fixture.\n\nPurpose of the Role:\n\nThe purpose of the role is to provide facilities support to the clients portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to, running access control for the UK estate, ensuring the London buildings are maintained, creating a safe and pleasant working environment for staff and visitors.
Managing the post rooms and ensuring they remain H&S compliant.\n\nResponsibilities for the Role:\n\nRunning access control for our UK estate - creating/cancelling access passes and management of the systems\nRunning post rooms - delivering and sending post, arranging couriers\nConduct routine inspections of the facilities to identify maintenance and repair needs\nCoordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services\nRespond promptly to facility-related emergencies or urgent requests\nEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment - escalating issues where appropriate\nAssist in maintaining records of maintenance activities, repairs, statutory documents\nSupport the Facilities Manager in planning and executing facility improvement projects\nAssist with general administrative/ad hoc tasks as needed \n\nKey Skills & Experience:\n\nAbility to communicate effectively, both internally and externally\nIT literate\nPro-active can-do attitude\nSelf-motivated\nAbility to multitask, work under own initiative and remain customer focused whilst under pressure\nFlexible approach to responsibilities and remit in a changing environment\nHigh level of professionalism, trust and integrity\nBasic knowledge of H&S regulations and requirements\nProfessional presentation and telephone manner\nDiscrete and flexible \n\nEducation/Qualifications:\n\nEssential:\n\nEligible to live and work in the UK\nExperience in FM environmentDesirable\n\nIOSH cert \n\nLocation:\n\nThis role requires the candidate to work on site at the clients London facility 5 days a week.\n\nWorking hours:\n\nStandard working hours with some flex where required.\n\nIf you feel that this is a role that would suit you then please apply today.\n\nIf you do not hear from us within 48 hours of your application, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.\n\nThe Adecco Group are an equal opportunities company
