Business Development Manager – Water Treatment Industry
Location: Scotland & North Midlands
A leading company in the water treatment industry is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth within key markets, including Healthcare, Building Services, Food &Beverage, and Industrial sectors across Scotland and the North Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets.
* Manage the sales process from lead generation to completion.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
* Create proposals, sales presentations, and pricing models.
* Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation, branding, and product development.
* Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless sales operations.
* Monitor sales performance and contribute to business strategy.
Requirements
* 5+ years of sales experience in a comparable industry.
* Strong engineering background, with the ability to engage technical and commercial stakeholders.
* Knowledge of the water treatment industry is essential.
* Proven experience in managing sales targets and business development.
* Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial approach.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
