Senior Flow Assurance Engineer Initial 12 Month Contract – Likely to be extended further Basingstoke –Hybrid working of 12 days per calendar month working from home Inside IR35 – PAYE/ UMBRELLA Oil & Gas sector A Senior Flow Assurance Engineer is required to work for a large Oil & Gas company based in Basingstoke that will offer a hybrid working set up of 12 days per calendar month working from home with the remaining days in the calendar month being office based. As the Senior Flow Assurance Engineer, you will be supporting the company to transition from traditional energy to decarbonised solutions such as Carbon Capture and Storage. The main responsibilities and functions will include, but not be limited to: · To prepare all technical documentation related to Flow Assurance activities during the different phases of the Project, such as Conceptual Study, FEED, Tender and contract package preparation, detailed engineering and Operations. · As the Senior Flow Assurance Engineer, you will follow up supplier call for Tender & Selection (qualifications, clarifications, recommendations, etc.) when applicable for Flow Assurance discipline. · To review and approve FEED, Tender and Detailed Engineering performed by Contractors when applicable for Flow Assurance discipline. · Teamwork and collaboration with other colleagues in the Subsea Systems department, and especially with the Flow Assurance discipline. · As the Senior Flow Assurance Engineer, you will be aware of International Standards & Codes. · Correctly apply Company internal standards and HSEQ policies. Candidate's qualifications, professional experience and skills required for the position Specialised knowledge: · As the Senior Flow Assurance Engineer, you will have graduate-level knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics. · Ability to identify, define, and analyse complex multiphase hydrocarbon transportation schemes. · As the Senior Flow Assurance Engineer, you will have proficient knowledge of multiphase steady state and transient simulations with specialist flow assurance software in the analysis of development projects. Organisation processes: · Experience with Technical Audit and Design & Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZID’s, Risk Assessments. · Ability to effectively interface and communicate with other staff (outside flow assurance specialists), shareholders, contractors and management. · As the Senior Flow Assurance Engineer, you will have the ability to communicate well, both laterally and vertically within the organisation. · Full understanding of the importance in planning and executing projects. · Ability to identify the need for and manage the integration of HSE and technical risk processes into engineering and project solutions. Skills, experience and qualifications: · Relevant Chemical/Mechanical/Energy engineering degree. · As the Senior Flow Assurance Engineer, you will have demonstrable experience in Flow Assurance in all project phases. · Proficient usage of the following software: OLGA, PVTSim, Multiflash, Pipenet, Pipesim, Hysys, Unisim. · Ability to collaborate effectively with other disciplines due to multidisciplinary approach to projects. · As the Senior Flow Assurance Engineer, you will be able to handle highly complex and diverse assignments while applying a high level of independent. · Strong communication, coordination, task prioritisation, interpersonal skills and excellent engineering judgement.
