Job Requirements - As HR Advisor you will be responsible for delivering a proactive and effective HR service to managers and colleagues at our Derby and Rainford facilities. Report ing into the Lead HRBP, you will support all functions across the sites p roviding advice and guidance in areas such as employee relations and HR policies & procedures. You will be involved with activities around compensation & benefits, employee survey, engagement, recruitment, performance management, merit review process and salary administration. Typical responsibilities may include: - Providing first line support and advice to colleagues on HR policies and processes - Workday - supporting managers to utilise system effectively, upskilling colleagues where required or signposting to relevant support, maintenance and administration of HR records in Workday - Creation and maintenance of employee contracts and documents associated with employee lifecycle - new starters, leavers, maternity, paternity, flexible working or special leave - Supporting investigations, including grievance and disciplinary, performance review process and absence management. - Assisting with administration of the Pay Review, Benefits Review or Change processes as required. - Employee engagement survey - support sites with quarterly comms, roll out, involved in engagement activities and action planning process - Champion effective absence management processes to ensure absence levels are regularly monitored and dealt with appropriately. - Reviewing and updating job descriptions - Recruitment - supporting managers with shortlisting, interviews, offers, induction and onboarding - Creation of employee data reports as and when required using Workday. Auditing of data in Workday. - Part of team - monitoring, review and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation - Regular contributor to Site Briefs and other site communications, attendance at briefings - Liaising with H&S to arrange on site medicals, organize referrals to OH Physician - Champion and administer the company Reward platform - Alkegen Thanks - Providing support with ongoing HR Projects What do we look for? What you'll need to succeed - CIPD level 5 or above - A proven track record as a HR Officer/HR Advisor or equivalent role - Ability to multi-task, deal with ambiguity and challenge the status quo in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills - The ability to influence and engage - Excellent organiser and able to demonstrate initiative - Comfortable with analysing data, identifying trends and making appropriate recommendations. - Workday experience would be an advantage - Demonstrated competency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point - Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
