TeacherActive is proud to be working with several ALN schools across Swansea, supporting with their recruitment for ALN Learning Support Assistants / LSA's. The setting is centred on pupils' development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social, and behavioural skills.
The school is seeking an engaged and driven team player to take on both short-term and long-term roles. The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children's individual needs, and have a positive impact on the wider school.
The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnoses of Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations is essential.
