Having recently met with this business and several of the leadership team, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a polished company that can offer good technical projects and fantastic career progression opportunities.
About the Opportunity:
Due to a healthy pipeline of work, my client is recruiting for a Project Manager who specializes in demolition activities within the heavy industrial sector (for example, nuclear power stations, industrial units, and substations). While projects are undertaken throughout the UK, the initial long-term project you will be managing is based in the North West of England.
As a Demolition Project Manager, you will join the company's existing management team, reporting directly to the Operations Director. You will be responsible for the onsite management of the project, ensuring it is managed within time and budget. You will have direct responsibility for all site staff, ensuring they are motivated and able to complete the tasks at hand. You will have a clear understanding of the value of the contract and its duration, the client, project expectations, and requirements. You will also play a key role within the senior management team.
About the Requirements:
Suitable professionals will ideally be degree qualified in civil engineering or construction management and will be able to show a strong history of working from site engineer level through to management over the last 5-10 years. This experience should have been gained while working for a reputable demolition contractor on technical heavy industrial projects in the UK.
Furthermore, you must be IT literate, client-facing, and hold a CCDO Black Manager Card as a minimum (membership in the IDE at any grade is highly desirable).
About the Benefits and Rewards:
For this opportunity, we are targeting professionals looking to earn between £65,000 - £75,000 per annum; however, specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered, which includes private health care, pension, and all travel expenses covered. Additionally, if you don't live within commutable distance from the project, full subsistence for working away from home will be provided.
If you're interested in finding out more, please forward a copy of your CV to me or call the main office landline to discuss the opportunity further on a confidential basis.
