Main duties of the job We are now appointing a new Chief Medical Officer (Development) The new CMO (Development) will take the executive lead on our advancement as a digitally enabled healthcare provider, including artificial intelligence and innovation, as well as medical education, research, service development, change, and transformation. The postholder will be a member of the Shelford Group Medical Director's Group and work interchangeably with our new Chief Medical Officer (Operations), and with a wide range of external organisations and agencies to support partnership working and collaboration, clinical pathway redesign and representing STH on the wider stage. As one of the most senior clinical leaders in the NHS, your expertise and leadership will be crucial in providing leadership across STH and the wider system, as well as shaping and influencing strategic direction at the national level.
