2024 is set to be another exciting year for McCann Central, with new clients, punchy pitches and a breadth of award-winning work. Successful times means we’re looking for an established Creative Resource Manager to help support our Strategic and Creative functions for our Birmingham operation.
As our new Creative Resource Manager you’ll bring a track record within busy creative studios to help ensure the smooth running of our Strategic and Creative functions. You'll therefore need to be highly organised, detail-oriented, disciplined and an excellent communicator, with a knack for casting projects to the correct skillset that enables us to deliver best-in-class work, on time and budget. Your understanding of the creative process means you’re able to anticipate potential challenges and provide solutions working collaboratively with different teams across the agency and external resource as required.

Requirements
Not only will the Creative Resource Manager ensure the Strategy and Creative teams are always in communication, you will work collaboratively with the Business Leadership, Project Management, PR and Social teams to help plan and deliver work for all our clients. We require someone who understands workflow within creative businesses, with the ability to effectively cast and schedule skillsets across strategy, creative, design, film, production, PR and social disciplines .
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Able to work as part of a team coordinating all bookings and casting of resource
- Work closely with team leads to effectively cast work, ensuring both senior and junior talent is utilised appropriately
- Build strong relationships with business and project management leads
- An excellent communicator with the ability to overcome challenges and provide solutions
- Highly organised and disciplined managing the project schedules
- Plan for peak periods, tackling resource challenges and providing solutions utilising internal and external resource
- Monitoring team profitability, freelance budget management and completion of timesheets
- Have your finger on the pulse of the freelance market across many existing and new skillsets building relationships
