Description:
SRG are currently searching for an experienced SAP Consultant to work with a global manufacturing client. This will be a hybrid position with the office being based in Manchester.
Responsibilities:
Complete and finalise the existing root cause analysis for historical differences
Drive and lead action plan to clear GRIR backlog in an efficient way
Drive and lead action plan to unwind historical differences between the general ledger and the GRIR sub ledger
Lead the preparation of a quantified exposure analysis.
Based upon the completed root cause analysis, lead a review of the current process (in strong alignment with the Global Head Source to Pay).
Propose future governance and RACI with the purpose of increasing the quality of our internal control environment and the effectiveness of the GRIR process.
Build training materials to be rolled out to various stakeholders across the business.
External SME will be supported by 1 Operational Excellence team member. Required:
End to end knowledge on the GRIR process including accounting technical side.
Experience in resolving GRIR backlog resolution
Experience in unwinding differences between the LG and the sub ledger
Strong SAP knowledge (for all areas relevant for the GRIR process)
Strong analytic skills
Hands-on approach, self-starter mentality
Good communication and collaboration skills - both written and verbal
