Role purpose: Key purpose of the role is to be the Senior Engineering resource within a defined team with supervisory responsibilities.
Role holder will be involved in ensuring that the local team effectively delivers the scheduled engineering services, balancing the operational risks relating to service delivery, cost, health & safety, legal and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities:
6. Ensuring that the local team understand the priorities within the work stack daily.
7. Overseeing delivery against work plans
8. Utilising data & insights from dashboards to help the Delivery Manager to drive and continuously improve performance across metrics related to utilisation, SLA delivery & quality.
9. Working closely with the Training team to ensure that the skills, competencies, and security clearances of the Repair team are fit for purpose for our delivery.
10. The role would be expected to work with the Delivery Manager assisting in the performance management across a local team, ensuring the highest of standards are delivered and that our teams live up to our company values.
11. Working closely with the Delivery manager ensuring the day-to-day operational delivery including risks, engagement with our employees, customer, and environments in which we serve are protected.
12. Be the technical point of escalation within the local team and potentially wider across the SCC brand.
