Job Description:
As a OFR Operations Agent – Rates & Tariff, you’ll use your talents to create innovative solutions and shape the future across our business. Join a global network of passionate experts backed by the latest technology, to take your career to the next level.
Key activities:
1. Set up and maintenance Client (Sell) rates and Carrier (buy) rates in Cargowise1 ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
2. Collaborate with Operations teams to troubleshoot auto-rating issues and address queries related to locally maintained tariffs.
3. Regularly review expiring rates and proactively follow up with Rate Owners for updated Rate Sheets to ensure competitive pricing.
4. Engage with the Ocean Commercial Centre regarding UK-controlled business, fostering strong relationships for efficient operations.
5. Work closely with Key Account Managers and Implementation Teams, both in the UK and overseas, to support seamless service delivery.
6. Assist with various tasks, including Import Port Health Charges and compiling Containers on Quay reports from Carriers as needed.
7. Contribute to the UK OFR Product team in achieving KPI targets related to station metrics, driving operational excellence.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
1. Proven knowledge and experience in using Cargowise1 effectively in a logistics or shipping environment.
2. Strong understanding of ocean tariffs and market dynamics to inform pricing strategies.
3. Process-driven with a methodical approach, demonstrating a keen eye for detail in all tasks.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating clear and effective interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Strong administrative capabilities, including advanced MS Excel skills for data management and reporting.
6. A proactive mindset that supports a culture of continuous improvement, seeking ways to enhance processes and efficiency.
7. Collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively within a team to achieve common goals.

HOURS: 37.5 per week
