Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Nurse - Community at Cunninghame House.
What you will do:
An exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced registered adult nurse to provide professional nursing leadership, clinical expertise and support to our nursing workforce and colleagues within North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
Working closely with senior clinical, primary care and local authority colleagues the Senior Nurse will have a key role in staff support and professional development and will contribute to organisational development and change.
You will support healthcare governance arrangements and service redesign ensuring that the national and local nursing agenda is delivered, engaging with nursing and other staff to implement change, develop practice and establish accountability frameworks.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You will have excellent communication skills with a proven track record in delivering high quality care, leading organisational change and demonstrating expert clinical knowledge within lead areas of district nursing services, long term conditions, frail elderly and rehabilitation across community and inpatient settings.
Educated to degree level with a professional qualification in nursing, experience of working at senior level and with an understanding of governance principles is essential
