CloudPay’s Global Marketing Team is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to lead and scale our SDR (Sales Development Representative) team. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, results-oriented leader with a proven track record of building high-performing SDR teams that consistently exceed pipeline generation targets. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to drive pipeline growth and contribute to the overall success of the sales and marketing organizations.
Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
* Leadership & Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive SDR strategy that aligns with company pipeline targets goals and integrates with the Account Based Marketing (ABM) approach to pipeline generation targets Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of SDR managers and individual SDRs. Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement within the SDR team.
* Pipeline Generation: Set clear KPIs and goals for pipeline creation, and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds targets. Drive the qualification and distribution of inbound leads and outbound prospecting efforts to ensure a steady flow of qualified opportunities for the sales team. Collaborate with marketing campaign managers to optimize lead hand-off and feedback loops, ensuring a seamless process for lead nurturing and qualification.
* Team Development & Coaching: Recruit, onboard, and train SDRs to ensure team effectiveness and individual development. Provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure SDRs are continuously improving and achieving their potential. Develop and implement career progression plans for SDRs to ensure retention and long-term growth within the company.
* Process and Systems Optimization: Optimize SDR workflows, processes, and technology (CRM, engagement tools, etc.) to improve efficiency and scalability. Analyze and report on SDR performance, pipeline metrics, and trends to identify areas for improvement and to inform decision-making. Implement best practices for outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and objection handling to maximize conversion rates
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with both marketing and sales leadership to ensure alignment between SDR activities and overall sales and marketing strategy.
* Partner with product, and customer success teams to develop targeted campaigns and improve messaging for SDR outreach.
* Act as a bridge between SDRs and sales people, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the sales funnel.
Attributes and Experience Required:
* Extensive experience and knowledge in a sales development or similar role, with good experience in a leadership/management position.
* Proven success in building and leading SDR teams that meet or exceed pipeline goals in a high-growth, SaaS or B2B environment.
* Sales expertise and strong knowledge of sales development best practices, including outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management.
* Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills; able to inspire and develop both individual contributors and managers
* Analytical Mindset and proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to turn insights into action.
* Experience with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.
* Results-driven with a track record of consistently delivering on pipeline generation targets and improving team performance.
