Job summary We are recruiting for a Nurse team Leader who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. You will work as an integral part of the renal multidisciplinary team. You will demonstrate expertise and leadership in the delivery of care to patients requiring Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) in the form of haemodialysis. As a nursing leader you will provide daily clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and support staff in the delivery of evidence-based practice. Actively support the unit manager in the effective running of the department including in their absence. The post holder will be expected to participate in on call duties. Main duties of the job As a nurse team leader you will promote high standards of professional practice and high quality care delivery within Trust and department policies, protocols and guidelines. Demonstrate expert clinical skills with specialist knowledge in caring for renal patients and Deputise for the unit manager in their absence with regard to the operational management of clinical service delivery at unit level.
