SEN Teaching Assistant - Blackley
TimePlan Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Blackley. This role is to start in Sept 2025 and offers a rewarding opportunity to support children with special educational needs.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Provide one-to-one or small-group support to help students reach their full potential
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
