Job responsibilities
We are looking for an organised Hospital Administrator who can work on their own initiative, has an eye for detail and who has excellent computer skills including a good typing speed and a good understanding of confidentiality.
This is a busy and varied job role, undertaking a number of duties including processing payroll, recruitment and onboarding of candidates, managing the personnel database, managing invoices and petty cash, booking meetings, minute taking, organising and supporting the management, typing other letters and other documents.
You’ll be working full time 40 hours a week, at Cygnet Elowen Hospital helping ensure the safe and smooth running of services for the people in our care.
Cygnet Elowen Hospital is our brand new gender-specific mental health hospital for women due to open mid-2025. The hospital will have two wards, a 12-bed eating disorders service for women, and a 12-bed female complex personality disorder service for women with a dual diagnosis of personality disorder and co-morbid disordered eating.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide a high standard of organisational & administrative support
* Prepare reports & other written materials
* Keep files & records as required
* Work co-operatively with all other members of the administration team to ensure the department runs smoothly
* Occasionally take notes & minutes at meetings when required
* Answer the telephone & respond to all enquiries in a friendly, efficient manner
