Location: York, North Yorkshire Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £100 per day Job Duties: Provide support to students exhibiting challenging behaviour Assist in implementing behavioural management strategies Work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment Monitor and record student behaviour and progress Provide one-on-one support to students as needed Required Qualifications: Valid driving licence and acess to own car as some outreach work may be required Previous experience working with individuals displaying challenging behaviour Ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of behavioural management techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Relevant qualification in education, psychology, or related field Training in de-escalation techniques Working Conditions: Work primarily within a school setting May require occasional evening or weekend work for events or meetings Must be able to handle challenging behaviour and remain professional at all times All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
