We are currently seeking applications for an experienced doctorally-prepared Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the faculty of our nationally ranked Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Nurse Anesthesia program. Candidate preference will be given to those that have extensive clinical experience, a record of state or national leadership, and evidence of scholarship. The primary responsibilities of this role include full-time teaching of nurse anesthesia courses, serving as a Chair or committee member for DNP-nurse anesthesia students scholarly projects, and mentoring students in collaboration with the program faculty. This full-time on-campus position requires five years of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and a record of success in graduate nursing education. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated leadership, advocacy efforts and a program of scholarship, which encompasses not only peer-reviewed publications but may also include conference presentations, development of practice guidelines, and implementation of quality improvement projects. Faculty appointment for this position will be made at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level on Track II (a non-tenure earning practice/clinical track) with the expectation that teaching could span across the academic programs at DUSON.
