Cherry Professional are looking for an IT Support Specialist who will provide technical support for hardware, software, and network systems. This role will require strong troubleshooting skills to resolve IT-related issues quickly, minimize downtime, and ensure continuous operations on the shop floor.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide first-line and second-line support for IT issues, including hardware, software, and networking problems for office and shop floor staff.
2. Set up and configure computer systems, servers, printers, and mobile devices.
3. Monitor and maintain local area networks, Internet access, and systems security.
4. Assist with diagnosing and resolving network-related issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) in collaboration with the IT Team.
5. Conduct regular maintenance of computer systems and IT equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
6. Support the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing-related software (EFACS).
7. Assist in software updates, patches, and system improvements for both office and shop floor systems.
8. Provide training and support to staff, enhancing their ability to resolve routine IT issues independently.
9. Create, maintain, and publish relevant support documentation to assist all users in the quick resolution of their incidents and service requests and enable users to become more self-sufficient.
Ideal Candidate:
1. 1-3 years of experience in IT support.
2. Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networks, and security protocols.
3. 1st line and 2nd line support experience.
4. Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and other standard office applications.
5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
