We are a leading lifestyle brand specialising in home & garden and currently we are recruiting for the role of Assistant Buyer to join our business.
Responsibilities:

* Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities throughout the procurement process.
* Stay up-to-date with market trends and new product developments within the interior fit-out industry.
* Overseas Buying Trips.
* Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
Person Specification:
* Relevant experience as a Buyer in the Homeware Industry.
* Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
* Experience in using procurement software systems.
* A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to work.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A valid UK driving licence (essential).
