If so, we want to hear from you. An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Revenues and Benefits Quality Assurance team at Elmbridge Borough Council. About the Role You will be responsible for assisting the Revenues & Benefits Quality Assurance Manager in providing quality assurance on the Local Taxation and Benefits functions (Council Tax, Business Rates, BID’s and Benefits). We will provide you with the necessary support and training so you may grow and develop your career. You will work closely with colleagues, customers, and external agencies to provide a high-quality service. Regular inspections will be required for sites that have been given planning permission, be it new builds, alterations or developments, where you will need to monitor their progression to establish an effective date of entry, for when they can be brought into the valuation/rating list. Please note that it is a requirement of this role to have a full UK driving licence and access to a car that can be driven for Council business purposes. About the Person You will have experience in Local Taxation or Housing Benefits administration. You will be decisive and confident in your decision-making ability. Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good IT skills and previous experience using Revenues and Benefits software (preferably on the Capita Academy system) would be advantageous.
