What is the role?
This fast-paced service is the home to 4 individuals with physical and learning disabilities. You could have the chance to work with these individuals to enhance their various skills and support them with daily activities and lead active lives in the community.

We have varied shift times along with sleep ins and waking night shifts at the service, which you will receive an enhancement for. We also make sure you have every other weekend off.
Duties for this role are:
* Supporting individuals with their individual needs, including personal care, food preparation, and mobility support.
* Providing emotional support.
* Completing various cleaning and administrative duties.
* Bringing fresh ideas to the team and implementing different ways of working.
* Administering medication.
* Stock checking individuals' medications and finances.
This service needs to be staffed 24/7, so you will be required to work various shift patterns including days, evenings, weekends, wakeful nights (9.30pm-7.30am), and sleep-in shifts as part of a rolling rota. Day shifts are typically split between 7.30am-11.00pm, with sleep-ins as extra or 7.30am-9.30pm without. Mid shifts are also available, and flexibility is key to this role.
What skills and experience do you need?
A background of working with people with physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided. More important are:

* A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player.

* An hourly rate of £12.15 making the annual salary £23,376.60 (FTE).
* Wakeful night rate £12.15 + 20%.
