Job summary An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and innovative Registered Nurses in our Adult ward teams in ELFT to join our ward teams as Clinical Practice Lead or our aspiring to be a clinical practice lead programme. If you have in-patient mental health experience for the post or feel some focused development could prepare you for this role please consider applying. You will join the management teams on our inpatient psychiatric wards in in the mental health unit in Mile End hospital. If successful you will join the Trusts aspiring clinical practice lead programme staring in April this year. You will follow a program of on the ward development which is detailed in the booklet attached. You will receive a one year contract as a band 6 nurse and will undertake the roles of a band 6 nurse as your development progresses. Main duties of the job The Clinical Practice Leads will support the Clinical Nurse Manager with 24-hour operational responsibility and accountability for the provision and management of high quality nursing care and for the treatment of service users within the inpatient service area. You will be required to support developing the service and nursing team, support care delivery and work with service users and staff to ensure the provision of practices that respond effectively to both individual and service need.
