The Engagement & Recognition Officer role will have responsibility for supporting the successful implementation of the Workforce, OD and Education (WOD & E) strategy 2020 and achieving our People Planning Objectives. They will drive the specialised areas of staff engagement and recognition to progress positive cultural transformation within Hywel Dda Health Board. The role will engage and educate Hywel Dda on various ways to build staff engagement and recognition across the organisation. The Engagement & Recognition Officer will work autonomously managing their own workload effectively to undertake all relevant duties to support the engagement and recognition agenda within the Health Board. They will provide up to date knowledge and advice on engagement and recognition to managers and staff within the organisation. The post holder will assist in designing, planning and facilitating events which develop positive staff behaviours and build staff engagement. There will be an expectation that the post holder will actively seek new ways to build engagement of staff and how the organisation values the workforce. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
