We are looking to recruit Senior Infrastructure Engineers in Vault Recovery to join our team at Information Technology Services (ITS). Your role will involve helping us to build world class user focused digital services, you will manage IT systems on premise and support software, core technologies and infrastructure development projects. This role is to support DVLA s Vault Recovery environment. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining and supporting the technology stack of the Vault Recovery Environment. You will consider, plan and implement upgrades, and apply timely updates when vulnerabilities are identified/notified. Within this role you will be participating in vault technical appraisals, testing and validation of backups for recovery, maintaining runbooks for the recovery of critical materials/services. You will manage Dell Cyber Recovery Tools such as Cyber Recovery Manager, CyberSense, and related Vault products. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Ensuring the Vault services are maintained, supported, operated and documented as required. Person specification We are looking for someone with multiple skills amongst a broad set of technologies You will already have a strong IT background in IT Infrastructure and be experienced in Vault Recovery. You will have experience of supporting or a working knowledge of Dell CRS (Cyber Recovery Services) and be comfortable writing CR runbooks with experience of backup recovery testing. You will be working in a team that thrives on working in a dynamic and collaborative environment that will challenge you daily to enhance and evolve your strong technical, communication, planning and leadership skills. You will bring an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a willingness to share and learn new technologies. Government Digital and Data Profession Pay Framework The role is part of the Government Digital and Data profession and utilises an enhanced CapabilityBased Pay Framework which provides access to a Digital and Data allowance. The base pay is £40,808. In addition to this the role includes a Digital and Data allowance of up to £16,592.
