Planning and preparing engaging and differentiated learning materials for Key Stage 3 and 4. Assessing pupil progress and providing timely and constructive feedback. Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. Contributing to the wider life of the school where possible. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience of teaching History within a UK secondary school setting. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Strong subject knowledge of the History curriculum. A passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil progress. A valid safeguarding certificate (or willing to complete one). An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service. Desirable Requirements: Experience of teaching GCSE History. Experience of using a range of teaching and learning strategies, including ICT.
