Our client, a prominent player in the rail sector, is currently seeking a Project Administrator for a short-term contract. This role is crucial for ensuring administrative and document control support for rail projects. The position is a day shift job, Monday to Friday, and falls inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full document control support for specific projects, including tracking documentation through Projectwise
Assist with project start and close out, ensuring project folders are set up correctly online and assisting in the submission of project close out documents
Raise Purchase Orders for the offices and project teams using SAP, OneSRM, and MyMall
Maintain various day-to-day operational processes for the section, including holiday and whereabouts lists
Assist with the preparation of client reports
Assist Project and Office Managers with setting up and decommissioning project site offices
Organise meetings, room bookings, and refreshments for the project team, ensuring visitors and clients are looked after
Perform general housekeeping, safety, and maintenance responsibilities
Handle miscellaneous administrative duties as necessary, including mail distribution
Provide cover on other projects as requested (e.g., holiday cover)
Assist receptionists and other administrators as necessary
Job Requirements:
Experience in administration and document control
Good working knowledge of Projectwise
Proficiency in using SAP, OneSRM, and MyMall for raising Purchase Orders
Strong organisational skills to manage operational processes and administrative duties
Effective communication skills to assist in the preparation of client reports and coordination with project and office managers
