Position: Electrical Engineer / Generator Engineer / Generator Technician
Join a leading electrical supplier of generators and critical power equipment.
The successful candidate will carry out maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair, and testing services across a range of diesel generator sets, switchgear, control systems, and associated electrical critical power equipment.
The role will ideally require experience in preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on various generators and associated electrical critical power equipment.
Location: Happy to cover Exeter and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
1. Carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on various generators and associated electrical critical power equipment.
2. Maintain and service critical power supply equipment, mainly generators, in a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites across the Southwest.
3. Conduct diagnostic, testing, and remedial works on generators, switchgear, and associated equipment, and support PPM where required, including load banking.
4. Project spares requirements for upcoming and planned works.
5. Support operational tasks such as reporting, quotations, progress reports, and customer enquiries.
6. Liaise with various engineering departments.
7. Full product training provided.
Requirements:
1. Experience as an Electrical Engineer, Generator Engineer, Generator Technician, UPS Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Power Generation Engineer, or similar.
2. Qualified to 18th Edition Electrical Regulations and 2391/2 Inspect and Test is ideal.
3. A qualified electrical engineer (i.e., NVQ Level 3 / HNC / HND in Electronic / Electrical) would be advantageous.
4. Solid understanding and experience within critical power applications such as LV control panels, electrical distribution, power electronics, electrical installation, generators, or similar.
5. Full UK driving license.
6. Flexible for overtime and part of the on-call rota.
7. Ability to obtain client clearances (i.e., police, MOD).
