Role Summary
You will support the team on their wholesale business. This is a busy environment where you will be dealing with a wide range of clients and producers and looking at their insurance requirements.
Role Accountabilities
* You will be accountable for assisting the producing brokers with endorsements, amendments, and closings into the Lloyd’s and Company markets.
* You will be accountable for broker backup duties to the team which will include the production of endorsements, technical documentation, and MRC slips.
* You will be accountable for maintaining broker and client files.
* To negotiate the finest possible terms and conditions for our clients, using appropriate knowledge, expertise, and market presence for the desired cover.
* Working with colleagues to ensure that all new and renewal business, mid-term amendments, and general enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
* Develop strong and long-term relationships with clients and markets, always looking at ways to improve this relationship.
* Usage of departmental mandatory documentation such as market sheets and checklists and adherence to departmental procedures.
* Any additional duties as assigned.
Role Requirements
* Experience dealing with risk placements will enable you to oversee the administration
* Ideally 2-5 years insurance experience in a similar role
Skills and Abilities
* You will be a knowledgeable user of Microsoft Office suite.
* Aptitude to work under pressure to tight time frames.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Have strong verbal and written communication skills and can build and maintain professional relationships, including being able to maintain contact with clients and Underwriters.
