The Role:
The Land Sales Manager plays a key role in business acquisition within the Land sector, reporting to the Senior Land Sales Manager. This position involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, contributing to order intake targets, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. Responsibilities include managing bids and proposals, ensuring alignment with company strategy, and acting as the voice of the customer. The role also requires developing key relationships with contractors, integrators, and end users across the UK, Europe, and internationally, as well as providing market intelligence, sales forecasting, and strategic input while ensuring compliance with company policies.
What we need from you:
* Experience in the defence industry in a customer-facing capacity (not limited to sales).
* Understanding of the UK, European, and international defence markets.
* Collaborative team player with a strong ability to work cross-functionally.
* Strategic mindset, capable of identifying business opportunities and assessing their impact.
* Skilled at managing multiple projects and campaigns in high-pressure environments.
