Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to seniors in need. This role is essential in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our client. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our senior client. Our client is currently receiving 4 visits a day.
Duties
1. Assist with personal care and ensure compliance with care plans.
2. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
3. Support the client with daily living activities, promoting independence while ensuring safety.
4. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to management staff.
5. Foster a supportive and friendly environment that encourages social interaction.
6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
Requirements
1. Previous experience in senior care or a nursing home setting is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
3. Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals.
4. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the dignity of clients at all times.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the needs of the service user.
6. Relevant qualifications or certifications in care work are desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
