Are you an enthusiastic, creative and detail-focused team player with an interest in communications and marketing? If so, look no further than this exciting opportunity at Connect Health. What are we looking for? We are looking for a Communications and Engagement Coordinator who will take on a broad range of responsibilities, helping to effectively engage and communicate with our internal and external stakeholders. As part of the wider Communications and Engagement team, you will play a key role in ensuring Connect Health is:

What will you be doing?
By supporting team members with event organisation, campaign creation, project completion and anything in-between, this is a role where you can expect plenty of variety and opportunity to develop new skills. Some of the things you can expect to be doing include:
* Assisting in the creation and distribution of content for a range of communication channels (including copywriting, editing, designing, and scheduling content)
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive working relationships and supporting the achievement of Connect Health's strategic objectives
* Leading on the production of multimedia assets including photography, design assets and video, using a creative approach
* Supporting the planning, management, and on-site delivery of events and activities
* Supporting the collection, inputting, and analysis of data associated with events, research studies, and digital analytics
* Managing Connect Health's website content, regularly reviewing content and managing our relationship with developers
* Ensuring maintenance of databases, monitoring unsubscribe requests, and ensuring compliance with our Privacy Policy
* Overseeing the fulfilment of print, merchandise, and other marketing collateral orders
* Acting as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent messaging and adherence to brand guidelines across all communication channels
* Supporting Flippin Pain (flippinpain.co.uk) and other campaigns/initiatives associated with Connect Health.
What you will bring to the role.
You'll bring a can-do attitude and embrace frequent changes in the pace and nature of work, occasionally working under pressure and prioritising where required to meet deadlines. Above all else you will be a self-motivated people person, passionate about contributing to our mission to make healthcare better and improve everyone's wellbeing. You will definitely:
* Have previously worked in a similar role or business sector
* Have experience in event planning, logistics, and promotion
* Be able to demonstrate a strong track record of working as part of a team to successfully deliver multi-stakeholder projects
* Have demonstrably strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
* Be competent in using MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Forms
* Understand the principles of inclusive communication
* Have a track record of creating communications/marketing content to successfully engage a target audience
* Have previously managed digital channels (e.g. websites, social media, intranet platforms)
* Be able to travel periodically, including occasional overnight stays.
And even better if you have
* Previously worked within healthcare, public health, or charity sector
* Achieved a university degree or equivalent
* A full UK driver's licence
* Undertaken training or completed qualifications related to communications and/or marketing
* Previously been involved in Patient & Public Involvement (PPI) or similar
* Proficiency with basic graphic design tools and experience of using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
