What you will be doing:
* Assisting in the delivery of successful NPI processes.
* Working to rectify any production issues that occur and putting in place corrective actions to ensure no reoccurrence of the issues.
* Collection of data to identify and make decisions on areas for improvement.
* Communicating with all departments internally as required to ensure smooth transition of products into manufacturing.
* Supporting the test department as required.
* Helping to deliver Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the site.
What you will need:
* Experience in electronics manufacturing.
* Technical knowledge of a variety of processes including SMT, AOI, etc.
* Experience of NPI processes.
* A relevant electrical or electronic qualification is desirable (ideally a minimum of a HNC level).
What you will receive:
A salary of 40,000-45,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, cash plan healthcare, etc.
The working hours:
Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-12:30pm on a Friday. The company offers some flexibility around this to start and finish a little earlier or later if it suits the person.
