Infrastructure & Projects Lawyer – 1-4 PQE | Manchester We are eager to find a lawyer with a background in either broad commercial contracts or infrastructure projects, to join this leading national firm in Manchester. You’ll be joining a down-to-earth, high-performing team working on some big-name projects across the UK and internationally. This team has an exceptional profile for handling high level work. In it's broadest sense, you will manage commercial contracts relating to infrastructure and public services, for clients offering a huge variety of work across transport, health, utilities, energy and more. The variety and depth of work means candidates from a range of transactional backgrounds will be considered, but in particular commercial contracts and infrastructure. In the position you may be handling commercial contracts for public services, energy and utilities, transport, and infrastructure projects, working closely with both public and private sector clients. Projects can be huge, collaborating across teams to deliver advice on everything from green energy and rail reform to hospital builds and student accommodation schemes. This is a team ranked consistently in the top tier, is ambitious and can provide an exceptional range of work to a lawyer looking for variety in their day. It can also provide an alternative to in-house, given the breath of work that is rare to a traditional private practice team. If you are 1 years PQE and have some experience in infrastructure, energy, or transport — or you’re coming from a general commercial contracts background and looking for something different, this is a highly interesting role. Projects can be high profile and fast moving, but the team is genuinely collaborative and can provide excellent training and mentoring to develop your career quickly.
