Domus Recruitment are working with a reputable care provider, who are looking for a Home Manager to manage one of their Older People’s services in Ware, Hertfordshire. You will lead by example at this home, being a professional ambassador for the home & the business.

Key Responsibilities of a Home Manager
1. Develop robust checks to ensure that accurate and current documentation is in place for all residents in line with company policy.
2. Review and arrange for the necessary equipment and supply to be available to ensure the safe running of the home.
3. Carry out regular checks in the home to always ensure that the home presents well.
4. Ensure that the home is compliant with CQC and other regulatory authority requirements and diligently work through actions identified in audits.
5. Deliver robust financial budget management in line with AvB, identifying variances and implement appropriate actions.
6. Ability to maintain a healthy work/life balance understanding the demands of managing a 24-hour service.
Home Manager Requirements:
7. Qualified RGN/RMN with active PIN ideally.
8. Experienced in managing Nursing/Residential homes for older people.
9. Can effectively manage relationships with CQC, Social Workers & Local Authorities.
10. Can effectively develop & manage relationships with GPs, Healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
Benefits:
11. £102,000 (including Bonus potential)
12. 35 Days (including Bank holidays)
13. Company Sick Pay – 4 Weeks Paid
14. Employer Pension Contributions – 5% Base salary
