Job Summary
BDCT is establishing a new Programme Management Office (PMO) team, which will focus on delivering programmes of work that will bring sustainable change to the organisation. There are some great opportunities to get involved in this work and ensure that our resources and support services are working and focusing on the right projects. The newly formed team will establish the right governance and work consistently to make positive changes during challenging times to deliver the best care for our patients. The role will be responsible for driving forward projects identified primarily from sustainability focused areas of work reporting into identified delivery groups and the programme board. The role includes the development of Project Initiation Documentation, setup of governance and benefits realisation including development and delivery of mobilisation plans. It is a role that requires good engagement with staff and involvement partners aligned with Trust transformational change.
Project management methodology will be used to support successful project and programme implementation. The projects are expected to utilise Care Trust Way improvement methodologies to support clinicians and managers in service redesign projects.
Main Duties of the Job
The postholder will work with a matrix management approach to enable collaboration in delivery of projects with allocated resources and colleagues in: Business Support; HR and Organisational Development; Finance, Digital and Estates. Co-ordination to produce regular performance monitoring supported to report and ensure overall goals are achieved and that governance is maintained.
