BMS Commissioning Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Dependent on Experience
Role Overview: As a BEMS Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful deployment and commissioning of our Building Energy Management Systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TREND, Tridium, or Schneider technologies and a strong background in building automation systems. This role involves working closely with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality commissioning services for our BEMS projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Commissioning:
Lead the commissioning activities for BEMS projects, ensuring that systems are installed, configured, and optimized to meet design specifications. Work closely with project teams and subcontractors to coordinate commissioning efforts and resolve technical issues.
2. TREND, Tridium, or Schneider Expertise:
Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with TREND, Tridium, or Schneider technologies, ensuring the successful integration and commissioning of BEMS components.
3. Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing and validation of BEMS systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with project requirements. Identify and rectify any commissioning issues, ensuring systems meet or exceed client expectations.
4. Documentation:
Create comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test plans, reports, and as-built documentation. Provide training to clients and end-users on system operation and maintenance.
5. Collaboration:
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to provide input during the design and planning phases of BEMS projects. Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders to address technical inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a BEMS Commissioning Engineer, preferably with expertise in TREND, Tridium, or Schneider technologies.
2. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proven experience in commissioning building automation systems and controls.
4. Familiarity with industry standards and protocols related to BEMS commissioning.
5. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
