Role Purpose To support our First Team Chef in delivering a high quality service to all players and staff. To maintain a clean and safe environment within the kitchen. Main Areas of Responsibility To ensure you are briefed/check the notice board at the beginning of each shift to ensure you are aware of your duties to be completed. To maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and washup area's, ensuring all equipment is stored correctly. Support food preparation as required and directed by the First Team Chef. Ensure high standards of quality control, stock rotation, handling and storage of commodities to current legislation, governing handling, storage and processing. Have an understanding of food management systems and health and safety requirements, including, HACCP, Food Safety and manual handling. Wear the appropriate clothing for the role and maintain a high standard of personal grooming in line with company standards. Ensure all elements of the Food Safety Policy are consistently adhere to within all areas. General Responsibilities Be an ambassador of the Group, providing excellent customer service at all times whilst portraying a professional image. Perform other duties as required, which are considered relevant to the post and to the objectives of the Group as identified by the CEO. Treat all colleagues as customers ensuring respectful, positive outcomes across all communications. About The Candidate Essential Requirements Qualifications and Experience Level 2 Food Hygiene Knowledge, Skills and Qualities Excellent organisational and timekeeping skills with an eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness. Self-motivated and pro-active with a enthusiastic and hands-on attitude to work. Passionate about using the freshest, highest quality ingredients, preparing nutritious and delicious meals whilst observing preferences, extensive dietary requirements and structure. Desirable Requirements Qualifications and Experience Have the ability to cover all areas in the kitchen, training will be provided as required.
