Job Description As the Fire Systems Business Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Fire Division, driving new business opportunities with end users and consultants, while managing and expanding the existing customer base. You will also oversee compliance, team development, and sales strategies to ensure continued growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Drive sales and consistently achieve revenue and margin targets. Identify and secure new business opportunities while managing existing accounts. Develop and implement account strategies to maximize sales potential. Generate service maintenance revenue through long-term client relationships. Track industry trends, product developments, and market shifts to ensure the company remains competitive. Provide reliable sales forecasts to the Commercial Director on a monthly basis. Design fire systems to BS5839 Fire Alarm Standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Lead and support the Engineering Services Manager in allocating resources effectively. Oversee and support recruitment efforts within the fire service and installation teams. Coach and develop team members to enhance individual and collective performance. Drive quality standards throughout the department and ensure compliance with BAFE accreditation. Manage and maintain strong partnerships with fire system manufacturers. Required Experience & Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in fire and security systems, with a focus on fire sales and technical management. Strong knowledge of fire alarm system standards (BS5839) and industry regulations. Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets. Experience managing teams and developing business strategies. Understanding of technical compliance audits and fire system designs. Knowledge of BAFE accreditation processes and requirements. Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, sales teams, and senior leadership. Personal Attributes Excellent leadership and motivational skills. Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
