We are currently seeking a motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and help make a difference in the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining an effective learning environment.
* Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with diverse learning needs.
* Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
* Help monitor and track students' progress and contribute to their development.
* Assist students in developing social and emotional skills.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to implement strategies for supporting students.
* Supervise students during break times, lunch, and extracurricular activities as needed.
About You:
* Previous experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable, but not essential.
* A passion for working with young people and supporting their educational development.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students’ individual needs.
* A flexible, positive attitude and the ability to adapt to the demands of the role.
* Ideally, a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), but candidates with relevant experience or a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
