What is great about the role?
We have an exciting new opportunity for a leader in our Later Living Extra Care services. We are seeking a talented individual to lead our services in Rhondda Cynon Taf, where we work in partnership with the local authority, operating and developing Extra Care across the county. We currently operate two Extra Care schemes, Maesyffynnon in Aberdare and Cwrt Yr Orsaf in Pontypridd, but this is only half the story, as RCT is also a key area of development. Our third scheme, Dan Y Mynydd, in Porth is under construction and is due to become fully operational in early 2026, whilst work on our fourth scheme, situated in Mountain Ash, has just commenced.
As an Area Assistant Chef, you’ll provide delicious and nutritious meals for our tenants. You’ll be sourcing fresh food, working to a budget, supporting to lead the team alongside the Area Chef Manager and ensuring we are constantly providing a high-quality service in line with food hygiene standards! Mealtimes are important, so we are looking for someone who can support our teams to create exciting menus and recipes; after all, some of the happiest memories are made around the dinner table. Some of our tenants may have cultural or dietary requirements, we are looking for someone who understands the variety of needs we cater for and strives to provide food that our tenants enjoy. You’ll be working across two of our state-of-the-art extra care schemes in Aberdare and Pontypridd.
We’re excited to offer two fantastic opportunities for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our ambitious and hardworking regional teams as Neighbourhood Housing Managers. These are full-time, permanent roles based in and around the Swansea, Carmarthenshire and surrounding areas. One role has become available due to an internal career move, while the other is a brand-new position created as a result of our continued growth.
We have opportunity for a passionate and motivated Support Worker to join our Floating Support Service in Newport on a full-time permanent basis.
Your day will consist of:
* Engaging and interacting with the people we support
* Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management, health, and wellbeing
* Supporting the client according to the support plan specifically tailored to each client
* Ensuring the building is secure including health & safety checks and maintaining an awareness of who is in the building
* Dealing with challenging behaviours and responding to arising needs
Our aim is to ensure we equip these individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to live independently. This is a challenging role as this service delivers intensive support around each client’s recovery before focus is put on the housing related support and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health, substance misuse, anti-social behaviour and offending behaviour.
This opportunity can be a steppingstone to a rewarding career in support. You will act as a first point of contact and a role model. You’ll be able to build on existing skills and knowledge to help the people we support gain independence into their own accommodation. It’s a unique and exciting project where you will be a part of something special.
Who we are looking for:
* Have knowledge of housing related support and benefit systems
* Have good organisation, IT and record keeping skills
* Can work part of a team and on an individual basis
* Deal with difficult situations
* Have good listening skills
It would be desirable for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence and access to a vehicle.
* Our service is 24/7 and we have a rolling rota which includes wakeful nights, days, afternoons and weekends.

* The service does require some lone working and you will receive the appropriate training to complete the role. As well as further training and progression opportunities – including NVQ
