Building Services Manager required for a leading UK main contractor who specialises in large commercial projects. The project is a large commercial build in the Oxford area, project duration 2 years. Building Services Manager Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing the production and agreement of logic linked programmes, preconstruction, construction and commissioning. Leading the production of PPC and road maps. Managing, monitoring and recording of weekly look ahead plan for resource and progress. understanding of dependencies, problems posed and available resolutions. Managing and sequencing of subcontractors in line with programme requirements. Assisting with the production and agreement of project health and safety plans. Monitoring of installation works to ensure compliance with Mace processes. Monitoring of installation works to ensure compliance with project strategies/plans. Monitoring of sub-subcontractor health and safety documentation ensuring validity and supply chain works onsite in line with approved RAMS. Producing of sub-subcontractor tender information i.e., scope of works, interfaces schedules, pricing schedules, demarcations. Managing of procurement of sub-subcontractors’ packages in line with business and project strategies/plans. Managing of sub-subcontractors’ scope via a profit and loss reporting including attendance in project level package commercial reviews. Managing of sub-subcontractors’ package risk register and weekly dependency schedule production to progress works in line with programme. Monitoring recording and challenging of weekly look ahead plan for resource and progress. Monitoring and auditing of MEP installation works to ensure compliance with construction status drawings i.e., line and level throughout the installation duration, spot checks to be undertaken. Production and agreement of the commissioning strategy, management of close out items for package. Attending commissioning meetings with detailed knowledge of programme, issues and resolutions
