Main duties of the job Applicants would benefit from having worked in a social care Occupational Therapy role previously or have experience of the community setting. The Team supports adults within their own homes where the primary need is physical disability with long-term health conditions. The aim of OT intervention is to assist people to remain as independent as possible in the community and is an extremely rewarding role. Health Community OT colleagues are also a part of our team and we work closely together as an integrated OT service providing the best possible outcomes for our service group. Knowledge of Moving and Handling people, specialist equipment, minor adaptation provision and assistive technology would be beneficial.
