CMA Recruitment Group is working closely with a leading supplier of goods to the UK market, in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant. Based in their Chichester, West Sussex offices, the successful candidate will work closely with the management team, to produce the monthly accounts and support profitability. What will the Assistant Management Accountant role involve?
Preparing statutory, financial and monthly management accounts in a timely manner.
Maintain financial reports including forecasts, budgets and cashflows.
Assisting with the P & L, balance sheet reconciliations and the bank reconciliation process.
Preparing and submitting VAT and tax compliance returns.
Assisting with monthly intercompany reconciliations.
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Management Accountant vacancy:
Ideally part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, though early studiers will be considered.
Excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills.
Good people skills to build strong relationships with business and external partners.
