About the Role: Oldham College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Leader – Electrical to provide committed leadership within our Construction faculty. In this key role, you will oversee the daily operations of the electrical programmes, ensure high-quality curriculum delivery, and support staff and students to achieve their full potential. Your leadership will contribute to the strategic growth of the faculty and help maintain the highest quality standards in teaching, learning, and learner outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of programme tutors, ensuring their appraisal and development. Oversee the planning, delivery, and assessment of electrical programmes, ensuring curriculum meets industry and learner needs. Drive learner recruitment, retention, and success, closely monitoring progress. Promote and maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and support within the programme area. Contribute to cross-college promotional activities, including open events and taster sessions. What We're Looking For: A degree in a relevant subject or equivalent industry experience and a recognised teaching qualification. Experience in teaching Electrical programmes in an FE environment. Proven ability to manage curriculum planning, quality improvement, and learner outcomes. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and learners. Flexibility to work outside regular hours and travel to external venues as required.
