Description Fixed Term Contract/Secondment Opportunity for 6 months | £75,322 to £84,031 per annum (Scale O) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich Could you help us transform our Care Market and Placement System for the Communities of Norfolk? Adult’s Social Care is looking for an experienced individual to redesign the delivery mechanism for high quality and cost effective care placements utilising Placements, Brokerage and Provider Quality functions. Acting as our strategic lead for Care Market negotiation and placements in Norfolk, you will align operational delivery with financial sustainability and quality improvement. You will create and lead an integrated Placements, Broker and Provider Quality Improvement function whilst leading our commissioning and contracting team. With a passion for continuous improvement and previous experience of partnership working at a senior level, you will also lead on negotiations on behalf of the Council as a member of our Adult Social Services Extend Leadership Team. You will have previous experience of building strong networks, influencing and persuading senior key partners with evidence of commercial and financial acumen. You will also possess experience of working with Elected Members and other Senior Leaders across agencies with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative, sustainable solutions. Significant experience in a senior leadership role in Adult Social Care is required along with the ability to use your professional expertise to translate vision into strategies, goals and plans whilst managing complex demand-led budgets.
