We have an exciting opportunity to join our Merchant Services Gateways team where you could become an integral part in shaping the future of payments acceptance!
About this opportunity:
A great opportunity has arisen for someone to join the Partnership team in Lloyds for Merchant Services to grow and nurture our key partnerships. The role will encompass looking after a diverse range of payment partners such as semi-integrated and fully integrated partnerships, both Payment Service Partnerships and some of the leading software vendors in the payments industry.
What you’ll be doing:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring long-term collaboration success.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to align initiatives with company goals and objectives.
* Collaborate with sales and account managers to understand route demand from current and new clients. Work in partnership with the sales team to attend select sales meetings and conferences.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the market.
* Lead contract negotiations.
* Conduct complex executive-level negotiations.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, positioning the company as a key player in the industry through thought leadership and strategic partnerships.
* Work closely with internal teams, including product, legal, finance, risk, and marketing to facilitate smooth execution and growth of key partnerships.
What You’ll Need:
* Substantial experience in the payments acceptance industry and management experience in a merchant services/gateway environment.
* Proven success in managing cross-functional relationships and influencing at the highest level.
* Proactive problem solver who is not afraid of challenging the status quo.
* Ability to base decisions on data and research.
* Values-led and believe in finance as a force for good.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & PowerBI, as examples.
