We are currently recruiting for an experienced, passionate, and caring Early Years Practitioner Supervisor to take on the day-to-day running within our busy playroom.
We are a small family-friendly nursery that takes great care in getting to know both our children and their families well to ensure we can provide the best possible care. We are open all year round.
The ideal candidate will have a real passion for working with children and understand the importance of delivering quality learning experiences. An enthusiastic professional who works well as part of a team and demonstrates leadership qualities. They should have the ability to deliver the Curriculum appropriately and effectively with a commitment to continuous professional development.
We require someone who is friendly, approachable, proactive, and uses initiative well to ensure children's experiences follow their interests. Out-of-the-box thinking is welcomed to provide the children with new and exciting learning.
We are looking for someone who has great knowledge of child development and government guidance to support great practice.
Being able to work as a team and on your own projects is essential, along with having effective communication to ensure the nursery runs as smoothly as possible, creating a calm and safe environment for children and families.

The candidate will need to have the relevant qualifications such as HNC in childcare and education, SVQ3 in social services (children and young people). The candidate will also need to have knowledge of relevant documentation, including Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence, and Pre-Birth to 3 documents. A desire to undertake CPD in the childcare field is essential to keep you up to date with current knowledge. You will be required to register with the SSSC.
The candidate will be required to have previous experience working with children from 0-5 years.
